Academic Football provides football coaching and development programmes for children aged 4–11. When you contact us, register for a session, or use our website, we may collect and process personal information about you and your child.

We are committed to handling your data responsibly and in line with UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

We may collect the following types of information:

• Parent or guardian name, phone number, and email address
• Child's name, age, and any relevant medical or allergy information you choose to share
• Messages sent to us via WhatsApp or other contact channels
• Website usage data (such as pages visited) via standard analytics tools
• Photographs or videos, only with your explicit consent

We use your information to:

• Respond to enquiries and manage session bookings
• Communicate about schedules, venues, and programme updates
• Keep children safe by maintaining accurate emergency contact and medical records
• Improve our website and services
• Share promotional content, only where you have given consent

We use WhatsApp as our primary contact channel. When you message us, your phone number and message content are processed by WhatsApp (Meta) under their own privacy policy, in addition to being stored by us for the purpose of responding to you.

We will never share your WhatsApp number with third parties for marketing purposes.

We retain contact and registration information for as long as your child is enrolled with us, and for a reasonable period afterwards for safeguarding and record-keeping purposes.

You can ask us to delete your data at any time by contacting us, subject to any legal obligations we may have to retain certain records.

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data in certain circumstances
• Object to or restrict certain types of processing
• Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
